What you can do:

• Test Code: download from sourceforge or a mirror, do ./configure;make all;make test. The email any warnings you had during compilation or testing. Patches gratefully accepted, but simple bug reports or confirmation of fixes have been hard to come by and are vital.
• Write Documentation
• Write Code
